I know that they have been around for ages, but I am just discovering the delights of Lavinia Stamps.

Their stag is especially suited to Christmas and Yuletide greetings cards!

Remember back in April, I was given loads of sheets of peel off stickers?

Well, I've now made a start on using the Christmas Themed ones

And there were a LOT of them, well over 100 sheets, mostly unused!

So, it's going to be a long, long time before they are used up!

Christmas is Coming ....

 

And its time to dig out the Christmas craft stuff and start making those Xmas cards!

First few are the easy ones, recycling some of last years cards

Adding background papers and embellishments

Next thing , look through all my old stamps and dies for new inspiration!

 Those topper books from Temu just keep on inspiring me to make more cards

The soft, dreamy pastel shades are so pretty ....

and are so easy to match up with backing papers.

TEMU Toppers

 I spotted 4 books of seasonal topper images on  Temu recently, there are some beautiful scenes in them

 I have been inspired to make loads of cards already

which also helped to use up some patterned papers I have had for ages

However, I guess the images must be AI generated, as there were a couple of weird ones that stood out

Now, I've visited London many times, but never spotted any mountains nearby!

Nor did I spot any when visiting the Eiffel Tower in Paris!!

More for the Men

 

Had a go at making more masculine cards - not so easy as cards with flowers and butterflies!

So made music, gaming and motorbike themed cards instead.

Plus a wooden dinosaur one for the kids!

I've been using up more of the scrapbooking paper kits that I was given back in January to make some more birthday cards for charity. Before .....

Peel Off Cards continued .......

 

Here's a type of card I don't make very often! Although the peel off cars are Sports or Classic cars, it seems to work well for passing your  driving test.

I've now made so many more cards with the big pile of peel offs that were gifted to me in April

There were lots of butterflies, sentiments and flowers

In lots of different colours, some were holographic!

Forced me to make different styles of cards from my usual, including several masculine and childrens' cards - still lots of peel offs left for when inspiration strikes again!

A Special Card

 I was asked to make a card for a lady who had reached the grand old age of 105!

I dug out lots of gold mirri card and some dies to make this for her - apparently she loved it! Not a good photo , but the best I could get with all the reflections.

I've also been gifted lots of peel offs from someone who has given up card making, 4 were used in the corners of this card.
