It will be a red, red Christmas..

For some reason I seem to be making a lot of red Christmas cards at the moment - not sure why?
I don't know about you, but I never know how a card will turn out when I start, I just start with the main image and play around with papers and embellishments until  I like the results!

Tatty Button - Robins Present

I was lucky enough to get one of the Craft Barns Goodie Bags on Saturday - they sell out very quickly!

For only £15 I got over £50 of stuff including a lovely Tatty Button stamp called Robins Present. As soon as the parcel was delivered in Thursday I just had to have a play.

I had great fun colouring her in with Promarkers in different colourways and making up these Christmas cards.

Getting into the Christmas Spirit ....

Getting into the swing of Christmas card making, although it still feels too warm at the moment ( I mustn't complain though!)

Went to a car boot sale this morning and got some real bargains - a pair Swarovski snowflake candlesticks for £2.50 ( they sell for about £20 each on eBay) and a large pad of A4 Xmas papers, snowflake punch and set of Christmas embellishments for only £2, well pleased!

Christmas is Coming .....

So it is time to dig out the Christmas stash, the snowflakes and the glitter and start making some cards, because before you know it, it will be the night before Christmas and you will still be rushing around making Aunt Mary's card!

My friend Laura and I got together on Monday and had great fun swapping bits - she has got a great collection of embossing folders so I spent ages cranking away at the Cuttlebug. Laura had never tried Promarkers  - so she sat there colouring little robins!

There was also time for a piece of Chocolate cake, because I'm sure Chocolate aids creativity!
