Why do cats sit in the awkward places?

This is one of my cats Moxxi - who insisted on squeezing on the smallest place on my dining table right in the middle of a crafting session!

    I have just fell over our cat Toby who is lying in the doorway tried to step over him and he got up and I fell trying to avoid standing on him little devil. He also comes and helps me in my craft room by sitting on the chair and pushing me off. Love Alison xxx

    My cats are both the same also. I was trying to make a quilled design the other day and had to fight my cat for the quilling papers!
