My New Big Shot Plus

It's my birthday soon, so my husband has treated me to a Big Shot Plus to replace my faithful old Cuttlebug.

I had to try it out straight away - this Arboscello Tree die by Memory Box never cut very well on the Cuttlebug, but came out a treat on the Big Shot

 I also bought issue 42 of the Tattered Lace Magazine because I loved this Cherry Blossom free die. Expect to see lots more die cuts on future cards!!

Sizzix Owl Birthday Card

I have had this cute owl die from Sizzix for ages and hardly used him, so thought I would have a play making him up from various scraps of paper. My Cuttlebug has been red hot today cutting out the all the letters, the circle and some of the flowers to go on the card!

Sizzix order has finally arrive

At last my sizzix mega sale order has arrived and like many people it was not complete - 3 items missing out of 8 and of course, 2 of those were the ones I really wanted! However I did get this cute owl on a branch and decided to use it first. The flowers were made with my new blossoms nestie which arrived from USA the same day
