A valentine card for my husband - we've been married now for nearly 31 years, so don't need to make a big fuss about it!
I did an indoor car boot sale this morning, but when I got there found 3 other ladies selling hand made cards, so I put mine away and concentrated on the bric-a-brac and toys. I did OK, but my Dad on the stall next door came back with next to nothing, having sold most of his model cars, mens clothing, shoes and books!
I don't often use vellum in my cards, I'm never sure if the double side tape will show through! However I have bitten the bullet and yesterday made 2 cards with vellum backgrounds
This zingy green card was made with dies cuts sent over from Laura in Canada
Whilst this card was made for a friends wedding anniversary with a piece of silver leaf vellum that has been sitting in my stash for years!
This is a decoupage atc - not something I do very often because I find them fiddly and difficult to keep even! It also has one of my favourite ways of filling space - 3 dots of 'Perfect Pearls'.
I have several bottles of perfect pearls in many different colours and often use them as a finishing touch on a card
This vintage style ATC has a paper pierced heart ( stamp from Craft Stamper Mag) with wooden roses embellishment that has been softly coloured to match the rest. The background stamping was made with one of my favourite stamps. It is a corner garland and I have used it so many times over the years!
