More for the Men

 

Had a go at making more masculine cards - not so easy as cards with flowers and butterflies!

So made music, gaming and motorbike themed cards instead.

Plus a wooden dinosaur one for the kids!

A Bit of Recycling !

It was Husbands birthday recently, so when the cards came down, I snaffled them to chop up, reuse and recycle.

And put a few more Masculine cards in stock pile!

Seeing Stars

A couple of cards for the men in my life made with  die cut stars. Ideal for men of any age.

Used some odd scraps of  coloured card up in the process too!

A bit of Stenciling today

Today I've done some stenciling to make backgrounds using the waste from some 'Craftwork cards' die cut sentiments and stars shapes

I used the ink dusters and a couple of the Ranger Distress Oxide inks that I picked up at a car boot sale last month to make both of these cards and finished them off with a wooden guitar or cat

And I'm quite pleased with the results!

Card Making Magic Stars!

Last year I mentioned about the Masculine dies and stamps I won from Christina Griffiths  & Card Making Magic

Well, I have now got around to using the stars die from that set and have made 3 of a kind birthday cards for men, using different colour schemes and backing papers

They were quick makes, so I must remember them in future if I need to produce a card in a hurry!

Masculine Makes ....

I was lucky enough to win these Masculine dies made by the Christina Collection from a crafting magazine. It arrived about 6 weeks ago when I was in the middle of Christmas card making, so I put them to one side. 

Now the Christmas crafting is over for this year I got them out and had a play!

They cut really nice and crisp images, and are a great addition to my ever growing collection of  dies.

So useful for those 'difficult to make for' men in your life!

Masculine Makes

Men are always so difficult to not only make cards for, but also to find the right presents for.

Here's a few cards that could be suitable for men - no flowers, butterflies or pretty accessories on these!

There ones are all left blank inside, so could be used for a variety of occasions.

Gilded Flakes

A few cards made with Indigo blu gilded flakes and my new swirl die -unfortunately its hard to capture the lovely effect of the gilding on camera.

I feel there is a bit of a 'nature' theme on these cards!

A Few Mens Cards

Looking through the cards I have made recently, I realized that they were all a bit girly - I really needed to start making a few for the men around here! 

So I popped down to the Range and picked up their Masculine themed goody bag and had a play.

I am stumped what to do with the sports car shaped cards, so will have to google to find some inspiration. These are what I came up with some of the rest of the stash!

Men Ahoy!

I used this kit from a magazine to put together a selection of cards for men - you know how hard it is to make cards for blokes, not all of them want a card with a fast car or footballer on!

At least I now have a few spares to keep by for the men in my family.
