Thank You Birds

I'm not quite ready to start making Christmas cards as it's still too warm, so thought I would make a couple of Thank You cards to keep ready for the right occasion.

They also used up some old images and papers from Making Cards Magazine that have been hanging around a while!

Papercraft Essentials 191

The latest edition of Papercraft Essentials Magazine caught my eye in WH Smiths because of the free RSPB foiled kit

I've already made some lovely bird themed Christmas cards

as well as a couple of birthday cards using the toppers, papers & embellishments - and there are still plenty left!

More Charity Shop Bargains

Popped in to one of my favourite charity shops for St Elizabeth Hospice and found loads of card making stuff!

I picked up loads of Hunkydory shopper sheets in a whole variety of styles

A complete cardstock pack from Hunkydorys Watercolour wings selection, retails at £12.99 - pleased about this, as I already have the matching topper deck.

A large pack of embellishments and toppers from Craftwork Cards

Plus some cute Christmas card kits and lots of Christmas banners from Lakeland  - all for £5.00. The first cards that I made all featured birds.

Masculine Makes

Men are always so difficult to not only make cards for, but also to find the right presents for.

Here's a few cards that could be suitable for men - no flowers, butterflies or pretty accessories on these!

There ones are all left blank inside, so could be used for a variety of occasions.

Home To Nest

I've just given out over 60 cards to local charities to help with their fund raising, so thought I would treat myself to the new Docrafts goody bag and popped down to the Range.

I really love the new Home to Nest range and think they make lovely cards for both those with green fingers and bird lovers alike!

I'm not too sure about Papermania Spots & Stripes range  - it is a bit too big and bright for me

Shabby Chic Birds

I bought the Stamping for You magazine because I like the free Shabby Chic bird stamps, but instead have found myself playing with the lovely freebie papers instead!

As with all the Debbi Moore magazines, the papers are lovely quality and full of toppers and embellishments to cut out and use.

I have made 8 cards so far and still have loads of papers left!
