This little owl is a Tando chipboard that I painted with brown nail varnish! I tried colouring him with promarkers but he just looked a little washed out. He has a drop of gold perfect pearls for eyes and is sitting on a hand cut tree branch.
This cute stamp from Little Claire has been sitting unused in my stash for too long ... so it was time to bring it out and and have a play. I've used lavender, putty and plum Promarkers for the colour scheme and layered it onto a black card.
I'm on a bit of a roll with masculine cards at the moment!
This cute Hanglar skater boy was teamed up with starry paper from the Forever friends range and a star shaped charm with brown voile ribbon. He is coloured with promarkers and highlighted with white gel pen.
I'm desparetely trying not to buy any more crafting stuff until payday - avoiding visiting any craft shops or even the Range until the end of the month. I have so much papers to use up I cannot justify buying any more!!!
Often I don't have clue how my cards will turn out - I just grab an image or paper and have a play.
But today I was organised and decided to use these lush Spring Fling papers by the Wild Rose Studio that I got from Debbis candy giveaway and team them up with 3 cute Hangler girls. Coloured with my new promarker pens of course.
I think the sitting girl card is a bit too 'busy' but hopefully someone will like her.
This card was made using my new Sugar Nellie stamp, she was a bargain off eBay as she only cost £1.45! That has got to be one of my best buys from there. I love pastel colours and so I am going to colour her using a variety of promarker pens. This is my first attempt using lilac and pink.
This is one of the stamps from the new Peter Rabbit Beatrix Potter stamps by Crafters Companion, I was lucky enough to win them from Craft Stamper Magazine last week - and of course, had to have a play with them straight away!
They are coloured with my faithful promarker pens and stamp up very well. I'm off to a card and craft fair at Needham Market in Suffolk tomorrow, unfortunately its a week before pay day so will only buy things that I really, really, really need!!
I love this free digital image called Little Issy Skipping. You can find her and many others on Wendys Digital Doodling blog. I've coloured her with promarker pens and layered her using My Minds Eye 'pretty please' spring papers that were free with Cardmaking & Papercraft Magazine
Isn't this such a cute little upside-down monkey! He was a free digi stamp and I thought he would make a great card for my little nephew. He was coloured with promarker pens and layered against a scrap piece of green patterned paper against plain orange to make it stand out a bit more! Finished off with a die cut flower and leaves
This is one of the first digital stamps I downloaded and also one of my favourites! Its from Mo's digital pencil and is call Patience - not sure if thats the girls name or what the cat has to put up with her cuddles!
I have coloured it with lilac, grey and blue promarkers and layered it onto purple and lilac papers with some spotty and silver flowers which were free with a magazine. I finish it off with a purple strip with silver peel-off to read 'Have A Wonderful Day'. I hope you are having a good time in all this snow and able to do a bit extra crafting in the warm!
Wendy has some fantastic freebie digital images of Tilly and Belle on her site as well as a super followers blog candy giveaway . I thought this one of China Belle would make a great Thank You card to my Grandmother for her kind Christmas gifts.
She was coloured with promarker pens and layered with oval nesties against some vibrant paper that was a freebie from Simply Cards & Papercraft magazine a while ago
I was lucky enough to win 2 cute teddy stamps made by Dimension Fourth from Cardmaking and Papercraft Magazine. I coloured this one with promarkers and layered him onto an oval which had swiss dots embossed on it and cut out a balloon and swirl shape. I'm waiting for my order from the sizzix mega sale so I can make a number 2 to put in the balloon, ready for my Nephews 2nd birthday
