I've had this sweet Sugar Nellie stamp of a boy with his dog for ages and my new years resolution is to use those bits of stash that are lingering at the bottom of the pile!
The papers are about 6 months old and came from Making Cards magazine I think so that is another tick in the box! Back to work tomorrow so not so much time for crafting now, shame.
The Blog Candy I won from Debbi arrived today in 2 parcels! There were Sugar Nellie stamps stamps, yummy papers, stickers, gorgeous charms and of course, 20 different promarker pens!
All thought of housework was banished and I dived in to use them and the first card I had to make was to thank Debbi herself. These goodies will keep me busy for ages.
Horray my new camera has arrived - didn't realise how much I would miss not having one for a few days, couldn't put anything to sell on eBay and couldn't update this blog or post on the docrafts site! Anyway here are a couple or cards I made yesterday, the Get well card looks a bit too' busy' for me
My very first Martha Stewart punch arrived today - the doily lace one, which my mother has bought me for my birthday (Thanks Mum!) So I have teamed it with a cute Sugar Nellie stamp called Bear Hug with some butterfly vellum as backing and some prima flowers
I had another play with my Sugar Nellie stamps - this time using a blue colour scheme. I really must start to use up some of my stash of papers which are growing at an alarming rate. However some of them are so pretty I just can't bring myself to cut them up!
This is one of my favourite Sugar Nellie stamps - a Gorjuss girl with her teddy called Bear Hug. I took advantage of the world cup on the TV to spend a bit of time colouring in some stamps and making cards!
The background paper is from Papermania Henbury Lane range and has a lovely shimmer to the roses.
Another card with my bargain Sugar Nellie Stamp - this time using a brown, orange and green colour scheme. A bit too hot today to do anything other than craft indoors today!
This card was made using my new Sugar Nellie stamp, she was a bargain off eBay as she only cost £1.45! That has got to be one of my best buys from there. I love pastel colours and so I am going to colour her using a variety of promarker pens. This is my first attempt using lilac and pink.
This cute stamp of Mackenzie by Sugar Nellie was a free gift when I subscribed to Craft Stamper Magazine and I love her! She is carrying a basket of apples and looks so sweet.
The backing papers are from the summer special edition of Creative Card Making magazine and are called cherry blossom - yummy!
I'm going to get my promarker pens out now. After a busy week at work I feel like doing a bit of colouring in, as it is very theraputic!
This girl with her basket of apples by Sugar Nellie is just sooo sweet! I teamed her up with papers from the Papermania capsule collection and, for a change, added a bow to the centre of a flower for the embellishment. Just off to prepare a special tea for my Mum who is coming round soon, we are celebrating Mothers Day early here!
