Peace on Earth Christmas Cards

 

I used the large Festive Hunkydory Sentiment to make these cards - one in silver, the other gold

Teamed up with an elegant swirly background die, which I purchased from Craftability in Ipswich and a dove cut from white or gold scrap card. The dove die was a freebie from Simply Cards & Papercraft magazine (still going strong and with a great Gnome paper pack this month) back in 2015 and has been used every Christmas since!

White ATC's

These are my entries for another ATC swap on Trimcraft - this time it is for the colour white.

I die cut a white swan and a white dove. I edged the dove in soft pink and the swan in light grey to make them stand out slightly against the white backgrounds and mounted them on foam pads.

Great Free Gifts!

I just love the free gifts that came out with magazines this month! The Poinsettia nesting dies from Papercraft Essentials are a lovely size and the dove from Simply Cards and Papercraft Magazine is so pretty.

I managed to combine both of them in this Christmas card.

And I added the dove to this wedding card I made made previously. I have made another dozen or more poinsettia flowers yesterday from scraps of red and green paper  - so another Christmas card session beckons today!

Doves of Peace

This card was made from the Christmas freebies with Papercrafter Magazine.

I liked the traditional looking papers plus the sheet music stamp that came with them. Next I'm going to make up the gift boxes - even though I haven't bought any presents to put in them yet!!

Still not in the Christmas Mood yet!

Despite buying some new Christmas papers and stamps, I still not feel ready to break open the plastic crate under the stairs that has all my Xmas crafting goodies in it.

Perhaps the weather is still a bit too warm - or perhaps my Christmas mojo has gone walkabout. Until then I will just have to stick to birthday cards like the one above.

I do have to make an acceptance card tonight - just been invited to my great Nephews Christening!
