Handbags & Boots

I came across some old foam stickers of handbags and  boots  recently. I think they were a freebie from a magazine ages ago, so it was time to use them!

Plus use up a couple of old handbag shaped sentiments from Craftwork Cards too .

More Charity Shop Bargains

Popped in to one of my favourite charity shops for St Elizabeth Hospice and found loads of card making stuff!

I picked up loads of Hunkydory shopper sheets in a whole variety of styles

A complete cardstock pack from Hunkydorys Watercolour wings selection, retails at £12.99 - pleased about this, as I already have the matching topper deck.

A large pack of embellishments and toppers from Craftwork Cards

Plus some cute Christmas card kits and lots of Christmas banners from Lakeland  - all for £5.00. The first cards that I made all featured birds.

A Frollick of Fairies

Yes, that is what a collection of fairies is called - a frollick!

Had to go to The Range today today to get some silicone glue and door mat, but finished frugal February by not buying any other craft stuff - so that is 2 months now that I have resisted buying anything other than basics such as card blanks, DST & glue. I've managed to make over 40 cards just using up papers, dies, embellishments and sentiments  I already had in my stash.

I've had these cute woodland animal foam stickers for absolutely ages, so it's time to use them up! I've teamed them up with some Craftwork Cards toppers and scraps of freebie papers from magazines

Ignoring Bargains

Still determined to use up my stash and not buy any craft stuff in January (except for double sided tape) So, these 6 cards were made using just 1 sheet of sentiment toppers that came in the Craftwork Cards bargain box that I bought nearly 4 years ago, back in April 2016. Have made loads of cards so far, but still got quite a lot of stuff  from that goodie box still in my stash!

The background papers were mainly freebies from magazines. I decided to cancel a couple of my magazine subscriptions as they seem to feature the same type of cards and I wasn't feeling inspired by their projects.

Christmas starts now ...

As its September, I now feel I can crack open the Christmas stash and start making the Xmas cards!

I usually try to make 300+ cards. as I have several charities who like to use the cards for fund raising

These ones have all use Craftwork Cards' Peppermint Forest' toppers - I'm now off to Hobbycraft to buy lots of card blanks!

Spellbinder Shapeabilities Oval Heirloom Dies

I know these have been around a long time, but I have only just discovered them whilst looking for a nice oval border die!

I like their flexibility so that you can cut a matching fussy edge background to layer the border

plus there is a fancy label to go in the centre - that just matches the oval sentiments from Craftwork cards that I use all the time

A couple more cards - I am still using up items that I got in my Craftwork Cards goodie box from back in April 2016!
And there is still loads left that I haven't touched yet!

Stash Busting

Oh dear - my pile of stash just keeps increasing, why do they keep bring out new papers, dies, inks and stamps that are so irresistible??
I love Craftwork Cards and have loads of their papers and craft candi, but I have got to use some up before I can justify buying any more!

Leaving Card

I have been asked to produce a leaving card for someone who is off to a new job, that incorporated cups of tea and a Scottie dog!

Luckily, I had bought some wooden Scottie dogs shapes a while ago from EMMC, and a die for tea cups was free in a crafting magazine a few months ago, so it was easy to put together this card quite quickly! The background paper was also a freebie from a magazine ages ago and the sentiment is from Craftwork Cards.

Funky Moped!

Anyone else remember that classic record by Jasper Carrot called 'Funky Moped' ? I never knew it was produced by Jeff Lynne of ELO fame!

Well, this funky retro moped, paper and embellishments all came from the Craftwork Cards box.

Vintage Perfume Bottles

I'm still working my way through the Craftwork Cards sale box that I bought back in April. These cards are made with the perfume bottle toppers from their Vintage Ephemera range.
Despite making these cards here  plus these ones too,  there  are still loads of bits left!

A fairly Clean and Simple Wedding or Engagement card - made with a Craftwork Card Circle topper from their tag pad layered over a cream doily on a Kraft card.

 An easy and quick make!
